Full week

so...this week was very eventful. first of all Ati moved out on Monday. That was really sad for all of us and we miss her a ton. the second big thing that happened is that we got a washing machine! so we spent most of the week doing laundry and waiting two or three days for it to dry so that we could do more. we cant hang it outside because of lilly sprinkles (the dog) she will pull it all down. so we have a little rack to hang things on.

On Wednesday we had a great evening for dinner at the Phil and Tanisha Skeen home. four of the girls in our program live with them and they are in our ward, small world huh? anyway, this is their cute family, Tanisha is due in March so we will be here to see the fourth addition to their little family. Their little girl Adia is sooo cute, she loves sitting on every ones lap. We had the best enchiladas in the world for dinner, I miss Mexican food!

This week we had our math class from monday till Thursday for 6 1/2 hours every day but it went by super fast. We played card games and measured ourselves using cutouts of our feet. we made a proportionally correct giant with chalk in the parking lot and on the last day we did this. We made these with brown paper, black markers, brownish red dye and bleach

These are all the final projects, they look pretty dang cool.
This lovely lady is our math teacher Helen Walters, she is fantastic. I am so sad that we only had four days with her in class, I learned a lot and I am going to miss her.

Friday night we went out to dinner with the whole family including Erins brother in our ward and his other brother that was visiting from Australia. They were really cool and super fun to hang out with. Anyway, the restaurant was called Gingys and it had a pool so after eating i went swimming with all the Joseph kids that were there. Brittany and Sarah didn't, they didn't want to wait for their clothes to dry again. It was really fun, but not as fun as playing crazy uno with everyone afterwards. Erin and his brothers remind me of my dad and his brothers cheating and calling each other out for it. Lets just say it was a very exciting few games, I even came away with a battle wound on my finger from slapping a nine.

On Saturday Brittany and I went on an adventure to join the rest of the group out in Helensville. it was quite a long journey but it was worth it. We went horseback riding in the most beautiful countryside I have ever seen, it was amazing! anyway, this caterpillar was siting on a plant as we waited for the horses and I had to take a picture of it because it looked so cool and because it reminded me of Melissa Berry and our awesome adventure this summer.

We did get to the horse place quite a bit early because of the bus schedule so while we waited we played with these super cute horses, there were about 10 of them just wandering around.

We were with the group that had to wait a while for our horses to get there, everyone else just had to sit there and wait for us on their horses and I thought they made a pretty cool picture.

My horses name was Wood Smoke, he was beautiful. we had a pretty great time although he must have been hungry because he stopped every chance he could to eat some grass.
The scenery was the best part by far, It was breathtaking and I loved it.
